AF Series Air Handling Units
Air Handling Unit (AHU) / Make-up Air Unit (MAU)
Designed for cleanroom applications in the high-tech electronics, semiconductor, pharmaceutical and biotech industries, and fully suited to HVAC systems in commercial and industrial buildings.
The AF Series casing combines uniquely designed thermal-break aluminum framing, hook-lock thermal-break double-skin panels and a robust structural design for high rigidity and pressure resistance. The full series offers a wide range of options for different airflows, spaces and configurations, and internal components can be combined to deliver outstanding performance in any environment.
Every service section is fitted with easy-access airtight access doors and lighting. Smooth interior and exterior surfaces make maintenance and servicing simple.
To date we have delivered more than 500 large air handling units exceeding 100,000 CMH, with a maximum single-unit airflow of 190,000 CMH.

Insulated Sandwich Panel Construction
60 mm polyurethane (PU) insulated sandwich panels.

Casing Reinforcement
Thermal-break bolts
- In addition to sheet-metal screws, the filter frames are secured with thermal-break through-bolts that pass through to the casing exterior, reinforcing the overall structure.
Bottom Drain System
The drain pan drains downward by gravity for smooth flow and minimal standing water.
Anti-Tilt Restraint
Anti-tilt restraint for the fan base
- Prevents violent rocking of the fan base during earthquakes or similar events, which could otherwise deform and break the vibration isolators.

Multi-frame filter frame with reinforced frame construction.

Condensate Recovery System
A recovery kit and circulation pump return condensate to the air washer water tank, effectively reducing RO make-up water consumption.

Fall-arrest anchor hooks are added to the filter section so a safety lifeline can be installed during filter replacement.

AHU Protective Device
Pressure Relief Damper
Opens automatically when the pressure inside the unit reaches the set value, protecting the casing structure.
Mechanically actuated by air pressure, with a freely adjustable counterweight to suit operating requirements.

Prevents air in the drain line from being drawn back into the unit.
